On May 27, 2024, eGlue participated in “What jobs do computer scientists do?”, the JOBlab series meeting organized by Bicocca JobPlacement at the University of Milan-Bicocca. The initiative, aimed at computer science students, aims to foster direct dialogue between studies and companies in the sector, creating concrete opportunities for orientation and introduction to the world of work.

During the event, that has been a lesson by Professor Oliviero Riganelli of the Department of Computer Science, Systems and Communication (DISCo), Marzia Adorni, Chief Digital Officer, and Maristella De Paoli, Service Manager at eGlue, shared their professional experience with the students and illustrated the most required skills today in the digitalization of business processes and Customer Communication Management (CCM).

The intervention touched on some key themes for those entering the world of work:

  • digital transformation in medium and large companies
  • opportunities for those working in the IT and software engineering world
  • the importance of soft skills in agile and multidisciplinary design contexts.

For eGlue, engaging with new generations of professionals is a valuable opportunity to share their vision, build relationships with future talent, and contribute to the spread of an increasingly conscious and inclusive digital culture.

We thank the University of Milan-Bicocca, BicoccAlumni, and the JobPlacement team for their invitation and warm welcome.
