At eGlue, we believe that respect for human rights and the dignity of people is a universal value, fundamental to building a more just, aware, and supportive society. A commitment that cannot remain theoretical, but which concerns everyone and requires concrete action, especially in contexts of greatest fragility and emergency.
It is from this belief that eGlue’s choice to be Emergency Friend was born, supporting Emergency and its humanitarian activities through donations aimed at healthcare and supporting the people of Gaza. A contribution that represents the desire not to remain indifferent in the face of humanitarian crises and violations of fundamental rights.
Emergency has always worked to ensure free, quality medical care for victims of war, poverty, and inequality, forcefully affirming the right to health as a universal human right. Values that we feel deeply our own and that are reflected in our way of understanding the role of the company in society.
We are convinced that the world of work and business can and should have a positive impact, going beyond its own sphere of operation and contributing, as far as possible, to the well-being of people and communities. For this reason, we have long chosen to give concrete support to Emergency’s humanitarian initiatives, in the knowledge that even a single gesture can make a difference for those experiencing emergency situations.
Being Emergency Friend means for us sharing a responsibility: that of promoting a culture founded on respect, solidarity and the protection of human rights, transforming our values into real actions.
