Reducing the environmental impact of business activities and promoting people’s well-being: it is with this dual objective that eGlue has chosen to launch Green Ride, a sustainable mobility project aimed at its employees.

As part of its welfare and sustainability plan, eGlue provides employees with electric bicycles for commuting, promoting low-emission transportation solutions and contributing to a cultural shift in the way they experience daily mobility.

The initiative, implemented in collaboration with Hestro, an innovative startup specializing in the development of digital solutions and IoT tools for sustainability, was born with the aim of reducing CO₂ emissions, promoting the psychological and physical well-being of its employees, and supporting sustainable mobility plans in the area, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Furthermore, thanks to the call “Bike, to Work & City Logistics 2024” (CUP E99J24005410003), eGlue was able to launch a study dedicated to identifying safe routes that meet employee needs, with the aim of progressively expanding the e-bike fleet and involving a growing number of people.

The results of the pilot project

The pilot project involved 7 employees, who as of January 2026 had traveled a total of approximately 16,000 km, avoiding the emission of over 2,500 kg of CO₂. The results were made possible thanks to an IoT monitoring system integrated into bicycles, which allows us to detect the kilometers traveled and the environmental savings generated. All data, anonymized and treated with privacy, is certified via blockchain, ensuring transparency, immutability, and traceability of information, including for ESG reporting purposes.

A concrete commitment to the future

Green Ride represents a significant step in the ecological transition journey undertaken by eGlue, which has been integrating sustainability criteria into various areas of its organization for over four years. Investing in sustainable mobility means not only contributing to the reduction of environmental impact, but also improving the quality of life of collaborators, strengthening the link between business, people and communities.
