The Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment has announced the arrival of a new Electricity and Gas bill with the aim of facilitating the understanding of expenses and consumption.
In fact, the Utility market has two problems for consumers:
- The difficulty in understanding the details of the costs reported on the bill
- Uncertainty about how to save and the possibility of changing rates
The bill structure will be the same for all end customers, regardless of supplier: the first section, the Unified Title Page, will contain the amount to be paid and the main general information; the second, the Energy Receipt, will be dedicated to a detailed summary of consumption and costs, with a breakdown of consumption quota, fixed quota, and power quota for electricity.
This will be followed by an Offer Box containing the elements of the offer useful to the customer to verify that it is correctly applied, and Essential Information Elements, which will contain information relating to the technical characteristics of the supply, readings and consumption and other useful information.
